Preparing the Trunk
Remove the trunk carpet and lining.
When everything is removed you are ready to clean the surface.
Preparing the Wheel Wells
(Wash the wheel wells to prevent dirt from loosening the application bond.)
Remove the tires and protect the wheel, drums, shocks, struts, etc. with plastic.
Mask off the adjacent areas to protect paint from any over-spray. Now you are ready to clean the surface.
Cleaning the Surface for Application
(Simple, but very important.)
Simply use a sponge and acetone to wipe down any area you will be applying Stealth Kote to.
The acetone dries instantly so there is no waiting to get started.
